Okay, so my long awaited first race is Saturday. When planning out what I would need for the race I never once considered a wetsuit because I've been vacationing in that area for 32 years, figured it's NH in mid-August and it's always been hot as hell, and the water temp is usually right around 75-78 degrees. Well, wouldn't you know that the forcast is calling for it to be around 45 degrees out Saturday morning and I am armed only with my tri shorts and tri tank for the whole race. It's a 1/3 mile swim – am I going to freeze? Or should I try to find a wetsuit between now and Saturday?
