At the 10K mark of the 20K bike segment in the Sprint Triathlon at the Riding Mountain Triathlon, Darcy Ready flatted. The usual choices are to either take 10 minutes to patch the tube, or call it a day. Darcy ran the remaining 10K with his bike, and then proceeded to post the fasted 5K run time in the Sprint Tri, which wouldn't surprise anyone who has witnessed his long and illustrious running career.

At 44 years old, Darcy posted the 2nd fastest time at this year's Half Marathon at the Manitoba Marathon — seconds behind the race winner.

I was not at this race but know this man and have seen him run, wow, I wish I could say i was half as fast. The really sad part is I don't even know how to change a tire. I have been lucky to never have had to learn (touch wood)
