Has anyone in NZ tried these products, and those in other parts of the world, what are your views?
I'm asking because I have a 160km cycle event to complete and expect it'll take me 6 hours (yes there's hills!) easily.
Currently I use Peak Fuel gels, One Square Meal or Em's Power Cookies and Enervit powder drink. These (Enervit and one of the gels or cookies) are fine for my 1-2 hour rides. But I'm hopeless as taking water, just get too busy cycling and I probably suffer because of it. I know I'll need to smarten up my nutrition for this event.
I've been reading up on the Perpetuem and it sounds like it'll do the job. But I need to try it first. At NZ$50 for 16 serves it's a lot to fork out if it's not to my liking.
Dreamcatcher movie So if anyone has views on how they've found this both in taste and maintaining performance over a longer period of time I'd be happy to hear from you.
I'm really fussy and it has to look good too. Does it look cloudy like a milk product or is it more a clear coloured liquid like Enervit or the like?
If you've got other suggestions of things that have worked well for you please share your experience. Thanks.
