recycling critique please

Recycled product = me.

After grand aspirations last year, I am starting all over from scratch. Worse than scratch, actually, since I gung-ho'd myself into some shin splints with a too-aggressive reboot back in Sept (I got very deconditioned last spring/summer).

Right now:

30min run/walk each morning

Blood Trails download – I am working in 5 min sets (run 1 walk 4 x 6). Plan to inc by 1 min each week so will be running the whole 30 in a month

Walking

-5 mi 3x week (with my 4lb arm wts – at about 500 lifts per arm per 1/2 mile it adds up :-)

Biking:

-easy rides 3x week

download Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild movie

(last week 20 min, this week 30 min, next week 40 min etc)

Swimming is out for now (no pool). I am about 17 lbs over my "fighting weight".

Hoping to get a good baseline (and pool membership) by the new year -then will pick a training plan. I don't want to be such a big sissy, but since I ain't where I used to be I want to rebuild a good base. Would like to do some short tris this summer and a marathon next fall. Thoughts?
