So the story behind the hockey helmet…
was on our way to do a sprint tri 2 hours away from my home. After 1 1/2 hours of driving… 'Oh Sh*%! I left my helmet at home." Thank god I had my hockey bag in my truck. Briefly thought about finding a bike helmet to borrow, but doing something like this is SO me…. love to spice up stuations and bring in humor. So I did the bike leg in my hockey helmet…… and still took 2nd in womens….. HOLLA!!!!
