New Shoes and blisters

Hey Everyone:
I got the new Nimbus 9's for Christmas, and love the way the feel except for blisters. The thing is I have ran in them 2 or 3 times outside with runs ranging from 6, 9, and 11 miles with no blisters. The last 2 days because of brutal low temps (me being a wuss) I have ran on the treadmills with runs of 5.5 and 8 miles, and both times I have been getting some major blisters.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? My girlfriend feels bad because she bought them, but I told her that I race outside and didn't get blisters there. Do you think it just new shoes and the way I land when running on a treadmill or should I be concerned. I'll be using them outside again Saturday…wish me luck.
