Tremors 3: Back to Perfection movie download I am doing my first half marathon on March 2nd, and I have been doing mainly base training since November. I run usually three times/week, Tuesdays 45-50 minutes upper end of my aerobic heart rate (150-155) Thursdays easy run, 50 minutes, about 7 km, and Sundays my long easy run, HR 145, I'm up to 14 km with 7weeks until the 1/2 marathon day. I am tempted to follow some of the half marathon plans I can find on the web, but a lot of them incorporate speedwork that is not in my tri training plan. Completing the 1/2 mar is my main goal, but I don't want my time to totally suck… should I stick to my goal for the race being the same goal as my long runs? If I change it up and add a little speedwork into my shorter run days will I be messing with my base training for tris? My 'A' races for the season are a sprint June 1 and a Olympic August 17 if that helps. I have one sprint race under my belt from last July and have been maintaining my fitness since then!!
