Lost Season Premier

You are not going to believe this but I will tell you anyway.
We purchased a new HD Tivo and are just now learning how to use it. Yesterday morning I hit the record button for the "Lost Season Premier" on the guide and when it said are you sure you want to record the "Lost Season Premier"? I of course said yes. We ate dinner as a family, gave our daughter a bath, read all 3 of her new Disney Scholastic books she received in the mail yesterday, and then my wife put her down to sleep – it was her night (usually takes 30-45 minutes to get her down) with no thought of the "lost season premier" entering our minds at all. I sat back while my wife put daugther down and watched the History/ Military channel – I believe they had a top 10 tanks/guns/jet fighters/ etc… of all time list (fascinating) on. My wife comes out after putting our daughter down and says "let's watch "the Lost Season Premier" excitedly! I go to our Tivo pre-recorded list and select the "Lost Season Premier". It comes on and what do I see but another freakin recap of all
the episodes from last year which we watched and rewatched every time they came on. I thought to myself why is this on? This is the Season Premier not a recap?… We of course fast forward to the end not needing to rewatch last years storyline. It was now 9:15PM when we get to the end of the recap. The Tivo makes the Duh!!! Sound meaning it has hit the end of the recording.
So I ask myself wait a minute I recorded the "Lost Season Premier" on my Tivo what the F$#* just happened? Well our friends at ABC had snuck one over on us and made two episodes – One another fricken recap called "Season Premier" and the other "Season Premier" was actually the "Season Premier".
By this time it was too late to go back to watch it so my 6 month wait to see the "Lost season premier" has been extended by another week until next Thursday when ABC will replay "season premier" before the next episode.
A sad lost fanatic…
