OK…asking for opinions here…

Confessions of a Shopaholic rip

download Evil Bong II: King Bong I want to do an early season sprint race…before my actual planned first race. A nearby Y is sponsoring one with a 300 yd pool swim, 12 mi bike, 5k run…fine. It would be a great run-thru practice race prepping for two in April, and besides I already have that tri itch I need to scratch… Now, if I KNOW for a fact that even though it's a pretty typical sprint, that it will be 95% first timers and beginners, do I:

1. sign up at all or skip it?

The Jewel of the Nile rip

2. do the race and actually race it or dog it?

3. show up with the tri bike and related gear or tone it down?

(I did the Danskin race a few years ago and felt very badly passing the ladies riding their kids schwinns with the bell and the basket.)

Permanent Vacation film The Game Plan dvd

Course I'm probably jinxing myself and now will probably get a cramp on the swim, a flat on the bike, and sprain my ankle on the run….
