The doctor who recently did my VO2max test suggested there was a website that could use the result to predict my marathon time.

Management The website below suggests that my score of 66 should translate to a 2:30 marathon. Sadly, that’s a teensie bit inaccurate. Like 45 minutes or more!

Interestingly, I also found this article (link below) that suggest VO2max figures are not an accurate way of predicting marathon times, but they offer a much more reliable way of doing so…

Warning: the test described is HARD WORK! I challenge anyone to do it and post the results. It would be interesting to get a few people here who are about to do a marathon to try it and see how accurate it ends up being.
