running long distances – question

download Bad Apple I just signed up for the Disney marathon (in Jan 09) and I will begin training in the next couple of weeks. I just did an Oly tri and so I can pretty easily run 8-10 miles at this point. However, I have never run for >2 hours at a time.

My main question is how you stay hydrated on long distance runs(assuming that you are running outside away from your home). I have used a running belt for Tri training; however, the two small bottles it contains doesn’t hold enough liquid to stay hydrated for 2+ hours at a time. What do you guys do? Use belts that have larger bottles? Plan pit stops in your run path where you can fill up? Run indoors with beverage access?
As always, any help/suggestions would be much appreciated!!
