buy Human Traffic When I run long distances, I typically get into a “slower” pace from the start and stay in it in order to maximize my endurance. I am afraid of burning out if I start at too fast a pace. However, I am wondering if I should just start out faster and just let my pace to naturally slow.

When running a long distance (e.g. > 15 miles), do you:

a) Run at a fast pace initially and allow your pace to naturally slow the further you go OR

b) Start at a moderate pace and maintain that pace for the entire distance?

Which will allow me to maximize endurance/speed (in the long run)?
