A very dear, dear friend of mine Ferg Hawke, has been asked to apply to run across Canada in hopes of shadowing Terry Fox’s Marthon of Hope, from its begining in April to its tearful, short end over 3,000km later in Thunder Bay. Ferg would be one of 12 runners, and TV crews will be documenting this event.

For those who do not know Terry Fox, he is a Canadian icon, and many of us up here in the Great White North feel he encapsulates what it means to be Canadian, and even more consider Terry Fox to be the biggest hero, ever. It is an incredible honor for Ferg to be a part of this.

Ferg feels the more people see is video entry, the better chance he has of being chosen.
