Well my half marathon last Sunday turned out to be great!

Skies were overcast with a temperature of 8 degrees. A bit windy and

the little swarming flies who hover over sidewalks were out in full

swing.

Well I was third woman throughout the race. Just tried to hang on

to my spot. Last 5 km ran into the wind. Remembered at the 18 km

mark there was money to be won for top 3. Held on and ran a PB at

1:32:38. Bested my previous PB by 4 minutes.

I guess all my speedwork and extra long runs paid off.
